FYI Dallas | Issue #5 — Friday Briefing

Happy Friday, DFW. Before you check out for the weekend, here are three moves worth making.

Move 1 — Audit your follow-up speed. Pull up your CRM or phone records. How many leads from this week didn't get a same-day follow-up? That number is your weekly revenue leak. Write it down. You should be uncomfortable with it.

Move 2 — Identify one system to automate next week. Pick one repetitive task your business does manually — scheduling, follow-up, invoicing, lead qualification — and decide to automate it before Friday. One system per week compounds fast.

Move 3 — Look at one acquisition target. If you're interested in buying a DFW business, spend 30 minutes on BizBuySell, the Dallas Business Journal, or just Google "HVAC company for sale Dallas TX." Get familiar with what's out there. Deal flow is a habit, not a single event.

DFW Market Pulse — This Week

  • Home service demand remains elevated across the Metroplex heading into summer
  • HVAC emergency calls are increasing as temps climb — peak season is officially here
  • SBA loan approvals in Texas are up — funding is accessible for qualified buyers

That's your week in DFW business. See you Monday morning.
